Where to begin with my approach to the aesthetics of Gemini? I can only think of one place: PLAY! Gemini energy is youthful, fast moving, unattached, and has a great sense of humor. Geminis are certainly thought provoking in their style since they are willing to take risks. Only, they don’t consider them to be risks. They’re simply doing whatever they want, when they want to! And THAT is the rebellious nature that gives them a “two-faced” reputation. They’re absolutely not two-faced, they just do not feel it necessary to abide by the restrictive rules that other people do, and will go about their own pursuits when they see fit. They’re not waiting for someone to tell them what to do. This absolutely applies when it comes to the way they dress!
When I consider Gemini aesthetics, I’m tapping into my own inner-youth, the things that spark excitement, and unbind me from boredom. Geminis are visually stimulating, changeable, and fluid in their morphing, which is why people often feel blind-sided by Geminis. You can expect a thoughtful concoction of high and low brow, sophistication and adolescence, subtle whispers and obnoxious volumes. Yes, the twins will serve you duality as predicted. As a side dish, you’ll also be getting a greater understanding of what’s going on in their social environment. They are topical and charming in their expression. Geminis are keen reflectors of the tone of a time and place. They take street style to new heights!
Gemini energy calls me to summon lots of playful prints, uncommon color combinations, and play-sets. I’m often drawn to colors like yellow, turquoise, pink, bright orange, lime, and black (for deep contrast). Also, when picking out the perfect Gemini look, I’m reaching for items that are easy to move in since a Gemini is always down for a spontaneous play-date or making a quite exit. So, sneakers always over anything else and never confined to a garment that doesn’t allow for fun!
