Oh, Cancer babes, when it comes to exploring your aesthetic, I take a long walk down memory lane. Cancers are known for their sentimentalism and nostalgia, and their personal style is weaved heavily through them. You might find your best source of inspiration from your mother’s closet, your mother’s mother’s closet, old photo albums, vintage haunts, estate sales, and old Hollywood cinema. They are keen on coveting items that have a history, a tale to tell of romance, travels, and lives lived. They show great care for their clothing because they hold a certain sentimental value. Cancers are also the people to call to decode the hieroglyphs of washing instructions on your tags. Magically, they know what it all means. Cancers crush the domestic, cozy, but boss lady game! They’re hearts are tied to their home, and it’s often reflected in their affection for clothing that’s aligned with family traditions and customs, where they come from, and who raised them.
When I’m conjuring up looks for Cancer, I tend to reach for a palette of soft blues, navy, sea green, pale yellow, blush, white, and red. Nautical nods and sweet prints like gingham and polka dots often make a cameo too!
